Snowfall varies greatly across the region. Our coastal plain generally receives less than a foot of snow. On the flip side, the mountains of western Maryland and West Virginia can see upwards of 100 inches of the white stuff. Reagan National averages around 17 inches and Dulles averages around 23 inches per season.
