Foxborough, MA (Sports Network) - Real Salt Lake returns to the road on Wednesday after a three-game homestand to face the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium.

Salt Lake's 2-0 win over Vancouver on Saturday gave the club its second win in the three-match home stretch, and it has given the club something to build on with three successive away contests coming up.

"I think we take a lot [from this game]. I want us to be miserable when we lose, and we should be happy when we win," Salt Lake head coach Jason Kreis said. "We should feel good about it - not too good about it - but we should feel good about it, at least for overnight. We wake up tomorrow, and we focus on the next game. For me, it was very good, but we need to build off of it - there's still room for improvement, and we're going to need improvement if we're going to get results in the next two matches on the road."

Salt Lake's road trip will see the club visit New England Wednesday before traveling to Montreal on Saturday, but RSL will do so with a bit of momentum after a nice win against the Whitecaps.

With just one win in four games ahead of the Vancouver match, the game was being viewed as a bit of a must-win for RSL, which came away with three points.

"I honestly feel like we say that all the time, but that is with good reason," RSL defender Chris Wingert said when asked about the importance of the Vancouver win. "I feel like every week is a big week, especially at this point where things can change so much. Not only in the standings, but also in terms of momentum and moving forward. This win did mean a lot to us."

New England is also coming off of a positive result, despite picking up just one point in a 0-0 draw at Portland last Thursday.

The Revs once more had trouble generating a sustained attack, but the play of goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth helped New England to a point as the netminder produced a nine-save performance.

Shuttleworth's team has been held without a goal in five of its last seven matches, but he feels the next six games will be important, since five of those matches will come at home.

"I think this is a big stretch for us. I think we need to go home and take care of business and make it difficult for teams to play us at Gillette," Shuttleworth said.
