Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin
Bieksa will be sidelined for at least as long as the club's upcoming road
trip with an undisclosed malady.
"We don't know the details yet (of the specific injury). We have to be a
resilient group. We have a good group of guys. Adversity happens ... we have
to focus on our attitude," said Canucks interim head coach Mike Sullivan in a
Thursday press conference.
In addition, Henrik Sedin, who has been out since Jan. 18 with a rib injury
that ended his ironman streak at 679 games, might rejoin the club on the road.
He is still listed as day-to-day.
Vancouver begins a five-game sojourn in Winnipeg on Friday, and the trip ends
on Feb. 8 at Toronto.
