Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Former Baltimore Orioles star outfielder
Paul Blair reportedly died Thursday at 69.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Blair collapsed while bowling with his wife in
Pikesville, MD. He was rushed to Mount Siani Hospital where he was pronounced
Blair was an instrumental part of the Orioles' 1966 and 1970 World Series
championship teams. Although Blair was know more for his defensive abilities,
the eight-time Gold Glover hit a game-winning homer in Game 3 of the 1966
World Series and batted .474 in the 1970 World Series.
Over his 12 year career, Blair also played for the New York Yankees and
