Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers inked relievers
Jamey Wright and Chris Perez to one-year contracts on Tuesday.
Wright finished 2-2 with a 3.09 earned run average in 66 appearances for the
Tampa Bay Rays in 2013. The 39-year-old right-hander spent 2012 in Chavez
Ravine, going 5-3 with a 3.72 ERA in 66 contests.
Heading into his 19th pro season, Wright holds a 92-126 record and 4.82 ERA in
658 games (247 starts) for 10 clubs.
Perez spent the last four-plus seasons with the Cleveland Indians, racking up
124 saves and an 11-17 record and 3.33 ERA. Last season, he finished 5-3 with
a 4.33 ERA and 25 saves in 54 games.
