SUNDERLAND, Md. (WUSA9) -- Calvert County detectives have arrested a teenager for several commercial armed robberies in November and December.
Joshua Terrell Trippett, 17, has been charged as an adult with one count of armed robbery, one count of use of a firearm in a violent crime, two counts of first degree assault, two counts of second degree assault and one count of theft less than $1,000.
The robberies happened in Sunderland along Md. Route 2. Police say the suspect is also responsible for a commercial armed robbery in Prince Frederick.
Police say evidence from a vehicle recovered on December 20 led them to a residence on Gertrude Drive in Sunderland where they found Trippett.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending, officials say.
