HOWARD COUNTY (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested and charged a man who burglarized a church, school and businesses over the last few weeks.
Jason Wingo, 34, of Clarksville, is facing several counts of burglary, destruction of property and theft. The first incident happened at the River Hill Garden Center on August 20 where the suspect had broken in and stolen cash and tools. The same business had a break in incident earlier in August in which a TV had been stolen. Another incident on September 3 happened at the Red mango restaurant on the 6000 block of Daybreak Circle where the suspect had again broken in, stolen cash from the register. On September 6, the suspect stole copper piping from an elementary school on the 12000 block of Clarksville Pike. On September 11, the suspect broke into the Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church at the 12100 block of Linden-Linthicum Lane and stole a Sony TV, police said.
Wingo is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on no bond, police said.
