CLEAR SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Three young men were taken into custody after a resident spotted them in his garage on Thursday morning, say Maryland State Police.
Police say the Hagerstown Barrack of the Maryland State Police is investigating a burglary on Big Pool Road in the Clear Spring area of Washington County.
According to police, the burglary occurred at 3:35 a.m. Thursday. A resident found three males who had made entry into his garage, say authorities. Police say the males fled but deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Department later stopped them as they were headed towards the Williamsport area.
The suspects have been identified as 19 year olds Darren Scott Warner and William Scott Miller of Smithsburg, and 20-year-old Wesley Britton Harmon.
Police say they are investigating "possible involvements in other similar incidents in the area." Anyone with information is urged to call S/Tpr. McMullen of the Criminal Investigation Division at 301-766-3800.
