Chef Prepares Signature Dish Off New Brunch Menu

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Looking for some place special for Sunday brunch? The Curious Grape Wine Dine and Shop debuts it's Sparkling Sunday brunch this weekend.

The shop, which is located at 2900 Quincy Street in Shirlington, Va., features an eclectic menu of starters and entrées along with festive cocktails, and carefully paired wines by the glass.

Some highlights off the menu include Doughnuts with Wild Boar served with hoisin sauce, cilantro and pickled onion; Yukon Gold Potato Croquettes served with black truffle crème fraîche and fresh chive; Austrian Pancake Soufflé with sherried raisins, crispy bacon, gold rush apple and hickory syrup; and a Spanish Breakfast with potato and leek tortilla.

Chef Eric McKamey stopped by WUSA9 to prepare a signature dish off the brunch menu named Chinese Breakfast, which is served with creamy calasparra rice with roasted pork, marinated anchovy and fried egg.
