WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) --- A sudden breakout of dancing bodies launches the start of climate change discussions at the World Bank.

A flash mob gathers inside the World Bank Main Complex, James Wolfensohn Atrium on Friday evening.

Bankers dance to the choreography and video projection designed by University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies with faculty members Adriane Fang and Jared Mezzocchi.

The dance includes a large group of bankers in the World Bank Atrium who begin a dance movement, and then pull off their banker's suits to reveal long white tee-shirts beneath.

Each of the white tee shirts then becomes a screen that bears the video projection design show about the "changing the way the person sees the world" idea.

Mezzocchi's previous projection design work has appeared in Washington and New York theater.

The flash mob is part of the kick-off of the Connect4Climate:  Right Here, Right Now - an evening to celebrate creative youth engagement in the effort to combat climate change.

Connect4Climate is a global partnership program dedicated to exploring ways to better communicate about the topic of climate change.

The campaign launch VIP guest list:

`World Bank President Jim Yong Kim

`Italian Minister of the Environment Corrado Clini

`Sustainable Development Network Vice President Rachel Kyte

`External Affairs Vice President Cyril Muller

` Africa Vice President Makhtar Diop

` Global Environment Facility's CEO and Chairperson Dr. Naoko Ishii, for Connect4Climate.

The event is organized in collaboration with MTV and Artists Project Earth (APE), a United Kingdom-based environmental and arts NGO dedicated to climate change advocacy and action.
