PIKESVILLE, Md. (WJZ)- Shock for parents at one of Baltimore's premier Jewish schools. A physical education teacher has been arrested at school for child sex abuse. Police say he had an inappropriate relationship with a former student.

Police are aggressively investigating this case to determine if there are other victims.

Baltimore County police say the abuse happened at the Shoshana S. Cardin School in the 7300-block of Park Heights Avenue in Pikesville.

Police say 33-year-old Foye Minton Jr., a former administrator, is under arrest charged with sexual abuse against a former female student.

"She told our investigators that she had been victimized by a man there who was her coach, her gym teacher," said Elise Armacost, Baltimore County police.

Police say Minton, from Cockeysville, was the dean of students and director of athletics at the school.

The alleged victim, who is now 20, told police that the abuse started in 2009 when she was a 16-year-old student at the school.

Baltimore County police say the alleged abuse lasted about four years and tells us that Minton repeatedly tried to contact the victim even after she ended the relationship.

The investigation revealed that the suspect engaged in sexual activity with the victim at his Baltimore City home where he lived at the time and at times at the school.

"Our detectives do believe that there may be other victims, and we're asking anyone to come forward if they have been victimized by this person," Armacost said.

Police say Minton was the physical education teacher at the Day School at Baltimore Hebrew, where he was arrested last week.

He is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
