Police: Three Shot, 1 Seriously Injured in 4400 block of Benning Rd NE in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Three adults were shot and one seriously injured at a BP gas station in the 4400 block of Benning Rd. NE on Tuesday night, according to a spokesman for MPD.

We are told the shooter got into a dispute with the clerk at the gas station, left the station, returned and began shooting. The three who were shot were bystanders.

Police were called to the scene for the report of a shooting at 7:28 p.m. They found the three adult victims, one female, two males. One of the men has serious life-threatening injuries. The other man and woman were injured. All the victims are expected to survive.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with long dreds and a dark three-quarter length jacke.

No motive has been established at this time, police say.
