WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A man accused of a murder in D.C. in August was found earlier this month in Georgia.
Twenty-year-old Sean Carter of Northeast Washington was arrested on October 3 in Fulton County, Georgia on a warrant charging him with murder in the shooting death of Bidley Warren. He was detained there pending extradition.
On Monday, Carter was extradited to D.C. He has been charged with first degree murder while armed.
Warren was found with a gunshot wound on the night of August 23 in the 1000 block of Rhode Island Avenue NE. He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. He was 22 years old.
