LANDOVER, Md. (WUSA) - The Redskins controlled the pace of the game against the Minnesota Vikings at FedEx Field Sunday.
They beat the Vikings 38-26 to break an 8-game home losing streak, dating back to last year.
QB Robert Griffin III had another stellar performance, filled with highlight runs and passes, adding to his rookie legend this year.
Griffin III was 17/22 for 182 yards, 1 TD and 1 Int. He also ran 13 times for 138 yards and 2 TDs, capped off by a 76 yard TD run, that pumped up the crowd in the 4th Quarter.
The Vikings didn't fade away, scoring 14 points in the 4th quarter. But, it wasn't enough, as DeAngelo Hall intercepted a Christian Ponder pass in the end zone to put the cherry on top.
The Redskins are 3-3 on the season and will face the Giants, in New Jersey, Sunday at 1 p.m.
