ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) - A nationwide search resulted in the capture of a former Woodbridge man identified as a person of interest in the shooting death of a New York school superintendent, according to U.S. Marshals.
Anthony Robert Taglianetti, II is sought as a person of interest by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office in New York in connection with the murder of Clymer Central School Superintendent
Keith Reed, Jr.
42-year-old Taglianetti, a former Marine, is suspected of going to New York and murdering Superintendent Reed within the last week. Chautauqua County Sheriffs put out a national all-points bulletin (APB) including a description of Taglianetti's vehicle
U.S. Marshals investigating Taglianetti's whereabouts learned he was from Wooddbridge, and searched in the Shenandoah County area. When his vehicle was spotted, he was taken into custody after a felony traffic stop.
Taglianetti will be turned over to NY law enforcement officials for continued investigation.
