WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Metro reported at approximately 8:20 a.m. Wednesday that there was a third rail power problem at NoMa. Red Line trains were single tracking between NoMa and Rhoad Island Avenue.

Metro reported delays in both directions of about 30 minutes. It suggests Green Line service as alternate between Gallery Place and Fort Totten or Metrobus service.

Trains are also single tracking between Friendship Heights and Van Ness due to a power problem outside Friendship Heights, reports Metro. There are delays in both directions.
