Eric Foreman of Washington, D.C., convicted in shooting death of Neil Godleski, Catholic University student

WASHINGTON (AP) - A 18-year-old man has been convicted of first-degree premeditated murder while armed in the shooting death of a bicyclist during a robbery

Eric Foreman, who was convicted Monday, faces a mandatory minimum term of 30 years in prison at sentencing Nov. 16.

A jury convicted Foreman in the death of 31-year-old Neil Godleski, a student at Catholic University, on Aug. 22, 2010. According to government evidence, Godleski was biking home when Foreman fired at him, but missed. Godleski fell off his bike and Foreman walked over to him and shot him at close range.
