LAUREL, Md. (WUSA) - Officials are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Royal International Market located in the 3500 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel, Md. on Monday night.
According to police, an armed suspect entered the market and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money, then left on foot towards Route 198.
Officers say they set up a search surrounding the area with assistance from K-9 and Aviation but were unable to locate the suspect who is described by police as a thin, black man with facial hair, a dark-colored suit, a white shirt, black tie, and a baseball hat.
