MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- Manassas City Police have arrested and charged a 59-year-old man for allegedly removing copper wires and other metal parts from air conditioning units earlier this month.
David Michael Holloway was spotted on Wednesday by an officer patrolling Forestwood Lane. The officer questioned Holloway about several vandalism incidents and larcenies of air conditioning units in the 9400 block of Forestwood lane that had occurred between July 12 and July 16.
Police say that the investigation revealed the Holloway was responsible for the larcenies, where the suspect's image was captured on video surveillance.
Holloway is charged with grand larceny and is being held on $3,500 bond. He has a court date scheduled for August 16.
