WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A 37-year-old man was found guilty by a jury on Wednesday of multiple charges for sexually assaulting three girls, including his two step-daughters.
According to court documents, the man began sexually assaulted the girls when they were 9-years-old and continued abusing them five years each. The abuse took place at several different homes after the girls notified family members. Evidence also shows that the man sexually assaulted his son's 13-year-old girlfriend.
The man, who resides in D.C., is not being identified to protect the privacy of the victims. He was found guilty of multiple counts of first-degree and second-degree child sexual abuse with aggravating circumstance.
The man faces a maximum sentence of life in prison with no possibility of release due to the aggravating circumstance charge. After his prison term, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
In 1998, he was convicted as a sex offender for sexually assaulting a 10 and 12-year-old girl.
