WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- More of us are facing a dilemma with our money and saving it for the future. Just 31 percent of us have a financial plan for our lives, according to a new survey by the Consumer Federation of America.
According to the survey, 38 percent of us are living paycheck to paycheck. Fifteen years ago the number was just 31 percent.
Just 48 percent of families with college bound children are actually saving any money for their education.
Only 34 percent of us are sure we can retire at age 65 while 15 years ago 50 percent of us thought that was the finish line.
