ASHBURN, Va. (WUSA) -- Three teens were charged after paint balls struck a patrol vehicle in Ashburn, Thursday morning, Loudoun County officials said.
A deputy was driving in the area of Ashburn Road and Hay Road at approximately 2:19 a.m. when the deputy's vehicle was struck with several paint balls, police said.
After searching the area, deputies found three people involved in the incident. Authorities have identified them as 18-year-old Nicole M. Quigg, 19-year-old Christopher R. Pullen and 19-year-old Shaun A. Randall. They are all from Ashburn.
Quigg and Pullen were charged with being drunk in public and Randall was charged with "conspiracy to maliciously shoot at an occupied marked law enforcement vehicle and underage possession of alcohol."
They are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Deputies are working to identify two other suspects.
