WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The severe weather moving across our region and the nation is causing problems at the Washington three area airports.
A spokesperson for the FAA tells 9News Now there is a ground stop at Reagan National, Dulles International and BWI Marshall airports.
The ground stop affect flights that are flying into the severe weather. Since flights arriving from some areas cannot get the Washington region because of the weather, some other departing flights are also delayed.
As always, it is best to check with your airline for specific information.
