Armed Suspect At Large After Shooting Man In Arlington, Va.

ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -  An adult male in the 4200 block of Second Rd. North in Arlington was approached and shot by a gunman on Friday night, according to police.

At 7:50 p.m., the victim, an adult Hispanic male, was getting out of his car when he was approached by the suspect, an adult black male. The suspect said something to the victim in English. Then the suspect fired three or four shots at the victim

The victim, who speaks very little English, was struck twice, once in the abdomen and once in the hip.

The suspect ran away on foot. He remains large and is considered armed and dangerous.

The victim was conscious, breathing and communicating with an EMS crew when he was taken to an area hospital. He is in critical condition.

The suspect is a black male adult, five feet tall, dressed in black
