SILVER SPRING, Md., (WUSA) -- A variety of Nature's Promise salad mixes are being recalled for potential Listeria contamination.

Listeria is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

The 5 to 16 ounce mixes are packaged in bags and clamshells and sold at Giant Food and Wegmans stores.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says there have been no Listeria illnesses linked to this product.
