WASHINGTON DC (WUSA) -- Parents should open up the medicine cabinet and take a look inside.
Dozens of over-the-counter medicines for children are being recalled. McNeil Consumer Healthcare has launched a voluntary recall in consultation with the Food and Drug Administration because the products don't meet quality standards.
The products affected include children and infant versions of Tylenol, Tylenol Plus, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl. Some products may have too-high a concentration of an active ingredient. Others may have inactive ingredients that don't meet testing standards.
Here is the link to the full recall notice.
