FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA) --  In addition to the Presidential Race there are some other important contests and issues on the ballot Tuesday.  In Maryland, one of the most controversial is gay marriage. If it passes, the state would be the first to approve same sex marriage by popular vote.

Marylanders will also vote on the so-called Dream Act Ballot initiative. If it passes, undocumented immigrants would be allowed to pay in-state tuition at local community colleges.

There's also question 7, which would allow for a casino in Prince George's County and table games in five other gambling venues. Ko Im is live at a polling site in Fort Washington with more.
