WASHINGTON (AP) - A new investigation of the Secret Service prostitution scandal in Colombia has uncovered a hotel record suggesting a member of President Barack Obama's team may have been involved.

But a senior administration official tells The Associated Press the record is false, and the person in question did nothing wrong.

The review by the inspector general of the Homeland Security Department found a hotel registry that suggests someone affiliated with the White House advance operation may have "had contact" with a foreign national, according to a document obtained by the AP.

Yet the administration official says the hotel record is incorrect and that the personal affiliated with the White House team did nothing improper. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to disclose details of a review that is not public.
