ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 13-year-old girl was groped as she was walking to a bus stop on Tuesday, Alexandria Police say.
According to police, the teen was walking near the intersection of North Van Dorn Street and Sanger Avenue at about 4:10 p.m. when an unknown man groped her from behind and fled.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5'5" to 5'8" in height, with slicked back hair, a thin mustache and tattoos on both arms.
"There were two witnesses to the incident who confronted the suspect," police said in a press release.
Officials said they are not connecting this incident to the Springfield Groper at this time.
