Fermin Quintanilla charged with burglary and assault and battery in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Arlington County police are investigating a burglary and assault in which the suspect may have assaulted the victim's boyfriend days before the incident.

Police say at 3:05 a.m. on Thursday, a man entered a home int he 1000 block of N. Nelson Street. They say he then went to a basement bedroom where he touched a woman as she slept.  The woman's boyfriend was sleeping next to her woke up, they say, and recognized the man as the same person who had assaulted him in front of the home days earlier.

Police now have 25-year-old Fermin Quintanilla of Arlington, Va. in custody. He is charged with burglary and assault and battery.  Quintanilla was held without bond, say police.
