3 charged in 7-Eleven robbery that injured clerk ID'd

STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Loudoun County sheriff's office authorities say they have arrested three suspects in a robbery of a 7-Eleven robbery.

Eighteen year olds Darius T. Foster, Jonathan A. Jones, and Samuel T. Johnson are all charged with auto theft, robbery, firearm during the commission of a felony, and malicious wounding, according to authorities.

During the 7-Eleven robbery early morning robbery on July 24 in the 21900 block of Cascades Parkway, the robbers brandished firearms and assaulted the store clerk before demanding money. The robbers then took cash from the register and from the clerk, say authorities. 

Authorities say the clerk was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The three men are also accused of committing two more robberies at two fast food restaurants in Herndon on July 24. They were apprehended by the Herndon Police Department and the Fairfax County Police Department, say authorities. 

Authorities also say the car they used during the robberies was determined to be stolen from Nations Street in South Riding.

Foster, Jones and Johnson are being held in Fairfax County, say authorities.
