ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man was arrested in Las Vegas on Sunday for a sexual assault that happened in Arlington in 2010, say police.
According to Arlington County police, a man sexually assaulted and photographed a woman while she was unconscious in the Clarendon area on December 26, 2010 between 2 a.m. and 2:33 a.m.
Police say they identified Joseph Rivera, 34, formerly of Alexandria, Va. as the suspect in the assault.
Sunday, Rivera was arrested in Las Vegas, NV, say police. He is awaiting extradition to Virginia to face charges.
