WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested a man who they say pulled out a gun during a road rage incident.

Mohammad Asad Ali, 25, of Woodbridge, has been charged with brandishing a firearm for an incident that happened on Wednesday at 6:13 p.m. in the area of Minnieville Road and Silverdale Drive.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, said that he was driving when he saw another vehicle driving aggressively. Both vehicles continued onto Lake Terrapin Drive where the suspect vehicle pulled in front of the victim's car and stopped, officials said.

The suspect driver exited his vehicle, took a handgun from his trunk and approached the victim. A witness provided police with the suspect's tag number and they were able to make an arrest, officials said.
