70 Firefighters Put Out Springfield Home Fire

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (WUSA9) -- 70 Firefighters responded to a house fire in Va. this morning. 

The single family home located on 6240 Willowfield Way caught on fire early Wednesday morning. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department took approximately 45 minutes to put the fire out.  Another home adjacent to it also caught on fire due to the large amount of tire, officials said. 

There were no occupants in the home at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported, officials said. 

The first home is estimated to be a total loss at $482,000. The second home, 6244 Willowfield Way, damage is estimated at $200,000, officials said.
