WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County school officials say that Occoquan Elementary was in "precautionary secure-the-building status" due to police activity in the area.

Officials say students and staff are safe.

The lockdown was prompted by an armed robbery at a nearby Cashpoint title loan business. Police continue to look for the masked man who robbed the Cashpoint at 1391 Old Bridge Rd.  Police have issued a lookout for a Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, around 5'8" with a thin build and salt & pepper mustache. Police say the robber was last seen wearing a olive green hooded jacket, light blue jeans, mask, and was carrying a black & brown canvas backpack.
