FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County Police say a home burglary suspect fled through a closed glass door on Tuesday after being confronted by the homeowner. The suspect was later arrested and charged with destruction of property in addition to burglary, according to police.

Police say 27-year-old Monte Tobias Moyer was found not far from the home in the 11300 block of Aristotle Drive in Fairfax. They say he was "acting in a suspicious manner."

The homeowner told officers that he saw Moyer, who lives on the same street, standing outside his front door. A little later, the homeowner saw Moyer standing in his kitchen, according to police. When the homeowner confronted Moyer, Moyer ran through a closed, glass door, shattering the glass.
