STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Friday night, a Sterling man was charged for pulling a gun on people inside a car that reportedly was "doing donuts" in his neighborhood, say police.
The incident happened on Awsley Court in Sterling at approximately 8:20 p.m., say Loudoun County Sheriff's Office authorities.
Deputies had gone to the area for the report of a vehicle driving recklessly and "doing donuts" in the cul-de-sac, according to authorities. At one point, the car left the area but then returned a short time later. Authorities say that's when a resident confronted the people in the vehicle and reportedly brandished a firearm.
Police say that resident, identified as 45-year-old Vincent K. Gay, was charged with brandishing a firearm.
