ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) - Police have released surveillance video of masked men smashing glass cases and then stealing jewelry from a store in a mall in Arlington.

According to Dustin Sternbeck, Public Information Officer for the Arlington County Police, four masked men entered the Tourneau Watch Store inside the Pentagon City Mall about 10:37 a.m. Tuesday and took off with $609,000 worth of Rolex watches.

Sternbeck said that one employee was in the store when four masked men entered. The employee ran out of the store and shouted for anyone to call police, said Sternbeck.

According to Sternbeck, the smash and grab took 30 seconds. The men smashed a display case and grabbed 23 Rolex watches before running from the mall and jumping into a waiting dark gray sedan.

Three of the men were wearing dark clothing and one man was wearing a red hooded jacket and dark pants. They are all being described as black males wearing ski masks, said police.
