WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County Police say that a man wanted for the Burke and Herbert Bank robbery in Woodbridge last weekend was arrested in North Carolina after allegedly robbing a bank there.
According to police, on Tuesday the Fayetteville Police Department in North Carolina arrested two people after a bank robbery. After an investigation with the Prince William County Police Robbery Unit and the FBI, the department determined the suspect, Russell Culbreth, committed the bank robbery at the Burke and Herbert Bank at 14008 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge on Saturday.
Police say Culbreth is also wanted by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia for a bank robbery.
Culbreth is being held in North Carolina and will be extradited back to Prince William County. Culbreth, who is from New Cumberland, WV, is charged with robbery in Prince William County. He has a court date on April 17.
