ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Officials say three suspects have been charged in the killing of an Arlington County resident.
Arlington County Police say Mack L. Wood, 87, was discovered dead at his home last October. At the time of the discovery, the incident was reported as an accidental death. After an extensive investigation, police say the death was found to be a homicide and the three suspects were taken into custody.
The victim's son Mack L. Wood Jr., 47, has been identified as one of the three suspects charged. According to police, Wood was located in Tampa, FL, arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Police have also identified Jean Caleb Pierre, 32, and Sapien Edmonds ,29, as the other two suspects involved with the murder. All were charged with first-degree murder.
According to police, all three suspects have been detained without bond.
