ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- A 50-year-old man from D.C. is now charged with an Alexandria, Va. jewelry store larceny from July, say Alexandria police.

Cedric William Earles was arrested at his home in Washington, D.C. on August 30 and charged with grand larceny. He is being held in the District pending extradition to Alexandria.

Earles is accused of taking a platinum and diamond ring worth more than $25,000 from Kings Jewelers on King Street on July 24th after asking to look at diamonds.
