WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA9) - The DC Taxi Commission has "indefinitely suspended" two cab drivers who allegedly assaulted a man who was videotaping them blocking a gas pump.

The commission suspended Sharanjit Singh and Ephream Esheterom.

"A police officer responded and the victim was treated by ambulance," DCTC said in a statement. "The victim used his cell phone to record the drivers which led to their pushing and shoving the victim and grabbing his cell phone. "

"A police officer responded and the victim was treated by an ambulance summoned to the scene," the DCTC statement said.

The agency said has suspended three other drivers this year including one convicted of assaulting a passenger, one arrested for assaulting a taxi inspector, and another driving with an expired license.
