Thanksgiving proclamation shown in DC

It went on display first in New York City and now it's in D.C. Christie's held a rare public viewing of George Washington's Thanksgiving Day Proclamation on Monday at The Jefferson on 16th St NW. After D.C., the document will go on display for one day in Boston and then be sold on Nov. 14. Christie's estimates that it will sell for between $8 million and $12 million.
