Four shootings occurred overnight in D.C., one in Southeast and three in Northwest. Police say a man was shot in the stomach near the Exxon in the 3900 bock of Pennsylvania Avenue SE at approximately 3 a.m. Friday. Thursday night, there were three shooting in Northwest. The first occurred at 8:53 p.m. at 14th and Riggs Place NW, say police. A man was shot in the leg and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Another man was shot in the 1400 block of Jonquil Street NW at approximately 10:15 p.m., say police. He was transported with life threatening injuries to the hospital, according to police. At 11:33 p.m. a juvenile was shot in the buttocks in the 1200 block of Rock Creek Ford Road NW, say police. Police tell us he was transported to the hospital in non-life threatening condition.
