Man shot at Manassas house after search

A man is dead after a search warrant was executed and gunfire exchanged in Manassas. Officials have identified the man as Douglas Clayton Lewis. Authorities tell us that the D.C. Homeland Security Investigations Special Response Team executed a federal arrest and search warrant early Thursday morning in Prince William County. A search warrant linked to child pornography charges was served at approximately 6 a.m. on Covington Place in Manassas, according to an official. An official says gunfire was exchanged, and Lewis is dead. He may have been killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to an official. No agents were injured, says the official. Officials are still at the scene. So far, it appears that more than 15 weapons have been brought out of the house, including some rifles. Neighbors tell us that the same house was raided about 10 months ago.
