WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The red panda who escaped from Smithsonian's National Zoo last month returned to his exhibit on Tuesday. Rusty was moved from the hospital where he had been staying to his exhibit. Zoo staff made some alterations to his exhibit after determining that Rusty escaped from his enclosure via a "bridge" of trees and bamboo. He then made his way into Adams Morgan neighborhood before finally being captured. Staff members said Rusty was in good health after getting a rabies booster vaccination.
