Friday afternoon, the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish on Kemp Mill Road in Silver Spring, Md. collected wheelbarrows, shovels, charcoal and grills, contractor bags, suitcases, camping sets, air mattresses and diapers for Oklahoma tornado victims. Organizers said there were enough donations at the parish to fill two 18 passenger vans. Donations were sorted and loaded into a large box truck, which was set to meet up with a convoy in New York that is sending relief items to Oklahoma weekly, accordign to officials. The Archdiocese of Washington sent photos of the donation drive to us.
