Geminid Meteor Shower

If you were able to stay up late Thursday night and look into the sky, then you may have seen some streaks of light. What you saw were from the Geminid meteor shower, which happens every December. The shower got its name because it appears to come from the constellation Gemini. See photos of the meteor shower above, courtesy of Getty Images/AFP.
