WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- March is Women's History Month. We decided to look at some of the special challenges women face when it come to saving for the future. For example, women tend to live longer than their male counterparts, but they don't plan for it.

Gerri Walsh, the President of the FINRA Foundation, talks about how woman should be thinking about retirement planning differently, whether our lack of risk taking hurts us and our portfolios and whether we can make up for the fact we typically get paid less.
