ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. (WUSA)-- A massive storm passed through the Southeast on Wednesday, which claimed at least two lives. The storm destroyed homes, left residents without power and forced several school delays across several states.
The storm stretched across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas leaving plenty homeowners with their possessions spilled across their lawns.
Emergency state management officials in Georgia say that one person was killed and nine hospitalized.
In Tennessee, a man was killed when an uprooted tree fell onto a storage shed he used as a shelter.
